Healing Communities Through Mindful Strength

More About Our Company

There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. (Albert Einstein)

I love nature. I love swing sets. I love acting like I’m six years old. I love learning about people. I love teaching yoga. I love practicing yoga. I love setting my alarm ten minutes early just so that I can hit snooze. I love recognizing development and growth. I love feeling like part of a community.

I received my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2005 and have been practising clinical therapy/counselling since that time. I am grateful for the depth and richness of this work that teaches me so much about myself, others and life. I practised clinical therapy/counselling in a non-governmental agency for 5 years, and have been in private practice for 5 years.

After dealing with chronic pain for many years, I turned to yoga to help me both physically and emotionally. I quickly realized my passion for yoga and my desire to teach others. In 2010, I embarked on the Ahimsa Yogayama Teacher Training at Ahimsa Yoga with J-P Tamblyn-Sabo, and have never looked back.  I further completed my Pilates training with Anna Harris in 2012.

Currently, I have a private clinical counselling/therapy practice in the Annex in Toronto, and teach Yoga and Pilates at Moksha Yoga Uptown.
