Healing Communities Through Mindful Strength

More About Our Company

There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle. (Albert Einstein)

I love nature. I love music. I love vulnerability. I love people. I love learning about people. I love learning, period.

I received my Master of Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2005 and have been practising clinical therapy/counselling since that time. I am grateful for the depth and richness of this work that teaches me so much about myself, others and life. I practised clinical therapy/counselling in a non-governmental agency for 5 years at YOUTHLink, and have been in private practice since 2011.

I have became very interested in work with Anxiety, Depression, Self-Esteem and Trauma. In 2009/2010, I trained one day a week for a year with a psychiatrist from Sick Kids Hospital to enhance my skills in working with individuals who have experienced trauma.

Over time, I realized that talk therapy has it’s limits, as it is important understand that emotions and trauma reside in our bodies. In 2010, I embarked on the Ahimsa Yogayama Teacher Training at Ahimsa Yoga with J-P Tamblyn-Sabo to gain the skills to be able to teach led yoga classes and private classes to students.  I further completed my Pilates training with Anna Harris in 2012.

Currently, I have a private clinical counselling/therapy practice at two locations (Annex and Yorkville) in Toronto, and teach yoga and Pilates at a local studio in Toronto.
